Compare Prices On Toddler Roller Skates!

I found lots of  toddler roller skates when I was doing a search for my youngest daughter Stacy. I liked a lot of what I saw because they are  easy to get to her shoe size as long as you open them all the way up. Once on you can lock them in very easily. My daughter loves being able to do it herself. What I like is that the piece against her leg is very well padded so she is comfortable. I’d highly recommend these skates for kids around the ages of two and older.  Make sure to remember a helmet & pads – Safety First!

Roller Skating for preschoolers?

Many parents often want to take their toddlers/preschoolers skating but are usually uncertain about  the type of toddler roller skates to get for them.  Some parents will try to take their preschooler to the rink to be disappointed the fact they don’t carry toddler skates (many don’t). There are a few cases where a rink will have has toddler skates to rent, but in my opinion its always better to just buy a pair just in case they want to practice at home. The same rules apply with ice skating except they usually have smaller sizes to rent more so than roller rinks do.

My advice to you is to Call the rinks near you and see what they say. I know there are special days where toddlers and preschoolers can do different activities, this may not be at every rink though. It typically happens with roller rinks that want to get more business. Make sure your toddler has a helmet!

I started my little girls with the roller skates that I recommend on this blog (the disney ones). They roll like real skates but they have they are made so they don’t go as fast and your child won’t fall as much. I think it would be better to start with these.  Quick tip: Preschoolers and Toddler Roller Skates sizes are the same as regular shoe sizes.

Boys and Girls Roller Skates

Children love roller skating, boys and girls alike seem to be instantly attracted to the activity at first sight. The best part of seeing your child in their roller skates is the fact that they are having fun and gaining a new skill so soon after learning to walk :) .

In all the enjoyment of the new toddler roller skates, you must not forget the importance of Safety first! Like many other sports or activities, skating can be quite dangerous and sometime more dangerous with boys roller skates not because of the skates but because of the mindset of most boys when they get new junior roller skates or anything new for that matter. Although that may have been a stereotypical statement it seems to hold true in many of my friends children. Girls roller skates or boys roller skates, when you are dealing with children any type of toddler roller skates can be just as much fun as they are dangerous.

If you are looking to get your child the best roller skates around then you will want to compare the differences in prices. I say price is key because it will be your child’s first, second, or maybe even third pair of skates. Your child will adore the toddler roller skates that you get them, believe it or not it really wont matter what they look like as long as you dont get a girl boy’s roller skates… uh oh!
